DELRAY BEACH, Florida (SOUTH FLORIDA DAILY) - Come with us as we go out and about in South Florida!
Kate and I recently checked out Le Colonial in Delray Beach.
The iconic new French Vietnamese restaurant is located on Atlantic Avenue. The decor is chic and elegant...we loved it! You can sit outside on the patio, in the dining room, or in the lounge. There’s also a private dining room you can reserve for special occasions.
We sat in the lounge to experience their Saigon Social Hour.
Kate started with the Le Colonial Spicy Cucumber Margarita. I went with a refreshing lychee martini...
First up was the crispy shrimp and pork rolls. These were delicious, wrapped in lettuce and dipped in a chili lime sauce. We then ordered the spicy yellowfin tuna tartare -- topped with soy caviar!
The pan seared chicken dumplings were amazing and served in a black vinegar sauce. We shared a large plate of spicy chicken stir fry...we could see the steam coming off this dish, it was super tasty!
Our dessert was a warm chocolate cake, flambeed tableside with Puerto Rican rum and served with vanilla ice cream!
Let us know if you check out Le Colonial!
