DELRAY BEACH, Florida (SOUTH FLORIDA DAILY) - The enchanting town of Delray Beach will celebrate its 12th annual Halloween charity bike ride on the last weekend of October!
The Witches of Delray gather every year to decorate their bikes and raise money for charity. This year, the proceeds benefit Achievements Centers for Children and Families.
More than 300 witches featuring their best witch-wear and extravagantly decorated brooms (bikes) will ride along the ocean on A1A, guided by the Delray Beach Police Department. At the end of the scenic ride, the party will continue at Anchor Park with music and awards presentation for “Best Costume,” “Best Witch Cackle,” “Best Decorated Broom (Bike),” and “Best Group Theme.”
This spooktacular weekend event isn’t just about fun, it’s also about giving back. The 12th Annual Witch Ride for Charity benefits local nonprofit organizations, making it a great opportunity to support the Delray Beach community.
The Halloween witch ride kicks off from Anchor Park at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m. back at Anchor Park.
The ride is a sight to behold with broomsticks (bikes) and witches coming together for a good cause. Part of the fun is choosing your witchy costume. Let your creativity run wild, whether is classy or spooky, the rule is to have fun and embrace the spirit of Halloween. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, grab your brooms (bikes) and join this memorable weekend of magic and charity!
