MAI-KAI, the iconic Polynesian-inspired restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, has made a triumphant return after a four-year, $20+ million restoration. The hot spot reopened on November 21, 2024, and maintains its nostalgic 1956 tiki roots with modern sophistication.

The 26,000-square-foot space features eight themed dining rooms, each representing a different Polynesian island, and a 150-person bar.

Highlights include a nightly 45-minute Polynesian show, a menu showcasing tropical flavors with classic dishes like the Pupu Platter, and a bar with 57 specialty cocktails.

The restaurant now sits on the National Register of Historic Places, promising to entertain guests for generations with its authentic culture and immersive experience.
