There has never been a better time to check out South Florida’s local comedy scene. Captivated Comedy Co is one of the leading producers of some of the best local comedy shows in our area.

Captivated Comedy Co produces free monthly shows a Prosperity Brewers in Boca Raton where you can catch local comedians before they rise to stardom. Captivated Comedy Co owner Shannon Laleem is proud to hand select the best local comedians, at the most exciting venues in South Florida for her events.

Captivated Comedy also brings a wild twist to nights out with “The Spelling Buzz,” an adult spelling bee meets drinking game show that’s equal parts competition and comedy.

You’ll also see equally funny and talented local comedian Ryan Panucci from Captivated Comedy Co, co-hosting Spelling Buzz, Comedy in the Attic, and many more events alongside Shannon. But don’t forget you can catch the next Spelling Buzz September 3rd at Prosperity Brewers and monthly at Revelry.

In addition to stand-up, Shannon and her husband host the Thread Count podcast, where they feature comedians with a unique twist: writing custom lullabies for each guest.

Shannon is also taking her comedy to bigger stages, opening for Saturday Night Live legend Chris Kattan on August 22 at Banyan Live in West Palm Beach.
