WEST PALM BEACH, Florida (SOUTH FLORIDA WEEKEND) -
Walking inside the doors of Lucky’s Gay Bar in West Palm Beach, and you’ll find more than just cocktails. You’ll see a picture frame with a riddle, solve the riddle, enter the code and unlock the entrance to South Florida’s newest speakeasy The Hidden Social Club. This bar transforms from a daytime hangout spot where you can enjoy pickle-ball and bloody mary’s to a unique nightlife spot.
If you missed the playground as an adult, The Hidden Social Club is perfect for you. Casually learn how to play pickle-ball all while drinking a bar, it’s that chill. The Hidden Social Club even offers beer pong tables for guests to play on. At night, the bar shifts into a speakeasy where classically made cocktails and flair bartending take center stage.
Matthew Brookshire, a strategic consultant with Sketch Design Studio, calls Lucky’s one of the most important additions to downtown. He tells South Florida Daily, “As a member of the queer community, I’ve never seen a space in Palm Beach County that feels so safe, inclusive, and welcoming. Lucky’s bridges the local community with queer culture in such a meaningful way."
With its unique concept, Lucky’s and The Hidden Social Club continue to create a space that invites everyone to connect, have fun, and feel at home.
