Miami Art Week is happening the first week of December, and the headlining event is Art Basel from Dec. 5-7 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The international art affair features over 200 galleries representing over 40 countries. Art Basel is said to have 41 first time exhibitors this year, bringing more representation than over to the global showcase.
If you didn’t know, Art Basel is organized into sectors. One of the sectors this year is Nova. Nova highlights new works created within the past 3 years.
Surrounding Art Basel, will be the City of Miami Beach’s public art initiative No Vacancy. No Vacancy shines a light on new art commissioned installations in 12 hotel lobbies across Miami.
