Publix is putting a new twist on holiday treats with the release of its Merry Birthday cake! The specialty cake was recently featured in the company’s latest seasonal commercial that debuted on Thanksgiving Day.
The ad spot highlights the story of a girl born on Christmas who has never had a birthday separate from the holiday. In the commercial, Santa steps in to help create a celebration just for her, complete with the bakery’s Merry Birthday cake at the center.
Publix confirmed that customers can now order the same two tiered cake shown in the commercial! The cake is available by special order with a 24 hour notice and can be ordered online or through a bakery associate in store.
For those looking for something quicker, Publix also has a mini version available in stores now.
