Tucked inside The Mall at Wellington Green, the Palm Beach Museum of Natural History is kicking off the new year with a full slate of January programs designed for families, art lovers, and curious minds of all ages! From creative workshops to dinosaur themed events and tasty treats, there is something new to discover all month long.
- The Paleo Art Series runs Saturday, January 3 and 17 from noon to 2 pm. For $15 per person, guests can paint, weave, and create original artwork using tropical palm fronds, inspired by natural history and ancient traditions.
- Families can start their Sunday with Dinos and Donuts on January 11 from 11 am to noon. Enjoy donuts, refreshments, and interactive activities while learning about dinosaurs and other fascinating topics in natural history. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for children five and up, and free for kids under five.
- On Friday, January 16 from 5 to 7 pm, kids can enjoy a night of fun during Dino Nite Drop In. For $15 per child, the evening includes food, games, arts and crafts, and prehistoric themed activities.
- The museum also hosts Evolution of the Chicken on Friday, January 23 from 5 to 6:30 pm. This playful and educational program explores how chickens evolved and became one of the world’s most familiar animals. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for children five and up, with a crispy snack included.
- Rounding out the month is Ice Age and Ice Cream on Sunday, January 25 from 4 to 5:30 pm. Families can enjoy ice cream and a screening of the animated hit Ice Age for $30 per family.
