Wellington International kicks off 2026 equestrian season

The winter season runs now thru March with weekly shows and free entry!

The Winter Equestrian Festival kicks off the 2026 season with a bang See world class show jumping, dressage, hunters and more at the 2026 The Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington International.

Wellington International has officially kicked off the 2026 Winter Equestrian Festival and Adequan Global Dressage Festival! The annual events welcome riders, fans, and Olympians back for another big season in Wellington.

The 13 week circuit runs now thru March 29th and will bring more than 31,000 competitors from over 50 countries and all 50 states to Palm Beach County. It is also seen as an important lead up to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, with many of the world’s top riders using Wellington as their home base during the winter season.

This year’s season includes a record $16.55 million in prize money, including the $1 million Rolex U.S. Equestrian Open Grand Prix on March 28th!

Saturday Night Lights and Friday Night Stars are both back with weekly events that mix top level competition with music, food, and a fun night out.

Friday Night Stars is hosted at Equestrian Village (13500 South Shore Blvd), where the International Arena comes alive under newly covered general admission seating! Watch world-class riders and their horses perform dressage movements set to music of their choosing.

  • Mar. 13: ABBA Night – CSI-W Grand Prix Freestyle presented by Lövsta Stuteri
  • Mar. 20: Nations Cup Night – CDIO3* Grand Prix Freestyle presented by Modon

The festival is expected to bring more than $530 million in economic impact to Palm Beach County, once again making Wellington one of the busiest spots in the equestrian world this winter.

General admission is FREE and gates typically open at 6 p.m. with competition starting at 7 p.m.
