This March, the Vero Beach Art Club is rolling out the red carpet for the 75th anniversary of Under the Oaks and this year’s show is bigger, bolder, and more vibrant than ever.

The event boasts more than 200 artists from around the world and they all meet at Riverside Park. Each year they expect over 50,000 art lovers in attendance, for a good reason. This show is nationally recognized as one of the best art festivals in the world. Between the art and the majesty of the oak trees, there’s a bit of magic here that keeps people coming back year after year.

But here’s what really captures the heart: the artists themselves. Meet Iris Peters, Vice President of the Vero Beach Art Club, who left the mopey winters of the north behind to paint teal ocean waves, tropical birds, and colorful florals under Florida’s sunshine skies. “The inspiration is just unbelievable,” she says. And when someone purchases one of her pieces? “It’s like taking a piece of me home.”
This is what Under the Oaks represents, the intersection of serious art buyers, passionate creators, and a community that celebrates creativity. It’s free to attend, shaded by ancient oaks, and designed for you to linger, explore, and maybe discover your next favorite artist.
