In Downtown Palm Beach Gardens, Avocado Cantina is going all in on May 5 with an all-day party that starts getting lively around 3 p.m. Expect $10 house margaritas, a stacked street taco lineup (hello, passion fruit short rib!), and a full rotation of live music including Mariachi Mi Tierra, DJ Bubbs, and Mojito Latin Band.
Over in West Palm Beach, Hilton West Palm Beach is stretching the celebration into a long weekend at La Playa from May 2 through May 5. It’s giving poolside energy with bold bites like birria quesadillas and wet chicken chimichangas, plus complimentary Patrón cocktails and DJ Mixer Mike setting the tone.
For something a little more pop-in and go, Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar in Nora District is opening for a one-day-only Cinco lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 5. Think drink specials, a mariachi band, and piñatas filled with everything from candy to local gift cards!

If your ideal plan is low effort but still fun, Drive Shack West Palm Beach has you covered. They’re running $5 margaritas, $5 chips and salsa, and $5 bay play per person. Show up with your crew and call it a night!
Feeling competitive? Calaveras Cantina is hosting a Cinco de Mayo Chihuahua Race at both its Mizner Park (Boca Raton) and Harbourside Place (Jupiter) locations, and yes, it’s exactly as fun as it sounds! Race times are 5:30 p.m. in Jupiter and 7:30 p.m. in Boca. The top three pups win gift cards ($100, $50, and $25!), and the first 25 to sign up score a mini mariachi sombrero.
And at El Segundo, Cinco de Mayo lands on Taco Tuesday in the best way. Expect $3 tacos, $5 margaritas, tequila tastings, live music, DJs, and even a half pipe with live skate demos. It’s a full-on fiesta, and your $5 entry gets you a margarita right when you walk in!
