WEST PALM BEACH, Florida (SOUTH FLORIDA DAILY) -
Local Taqueria & Oyster Bar has officially brought its signature Boston energy to South Florida with a new location in West Palm Beach’s Nora District.
The restaurant, best known for its tacos, margaritas, and day to night atmosphere, recently opened on a prime corner spot at the entrance to the new Nora development. Making it one of the first stops visitors should make when stopping by Nora.
General Manager Julia says the opening has been “awesome,” crediting the warm community reception and early wave of regulars for helping the space feel established right away.
The menu balances longtime fan favorites with a few surprises. Staples like the wings, nachos, and street corn have remained unchanged staples for 11 years, and continue to be top sellers.

Julia’s personal favorite is the short rib taco, she also recommends the quesadilla, plus “slept on” items like the Caesar salad and smashburger.
Seafood is also part of the draw, including oysters offered all week and popular $1 oyster Mondays that already bring in a crowd.
For nightlife, Loco is building on its Boston reputation as the kind of place you can start with dinner and stay for the whole night - enjoy DJs on weekends, live music, and new brunch events on weekends.
Looking ahead, the team is planning more community collaborations and a full “Five Days of Cinco” celebration May 1–5, featuring live entertainment, specials, and themed activations.
