Dragons, mermaids and other legendary creatures are taking over the South Florida Fair in 2027 with its newly announced theme, “It’s a Mythical South Florida Fair”!
The Fairgrounds will be transformed into fantasy-inspired worlds, including underwater realms, candlelit ruins and ancient forest groves. Guests can expect to see familiar mythical figures like dragons and mermaids, along with lesser-known creatures such as the Qílín of China and Kinnaras of India.
Along with the themed experience, the South Florida Fair will still feature its classic attractions, including rides, fried foods, daily parades, agricultural exhibits and live entertainment.
To build excitement ahead of opening, organizers are teaming up with local businesses for a special themed promotion running June 13–19! Participating spots include Art of Boba in West Palm Beach, Anna Bakes in Wellington and Dope Vegan in West Palm Beach. Each purchase will come with a fair-themed sticker sheet.
“This promotion gives people a fun way to connect with the 2027 theme before the fair opens while also shining a light on local businesses,” said Matt Wallsmith, president and CEO of the South Florida Fair.
