Manatee Lagoon will host Mia’s Summer Shell-A-Bration on Saturday, July 25, to celebrate summer while raising awareness about the environmental impacts of plastic pollution! The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the waterfront education center in West Palm Beach.
Visitors can enjoy outdoor games, face painting, a scavenger hunt, mini tours, story time, food trucks and a new hands-on science activity. Mia the Manatee will also make special appearances throughout the day.
Organizers say the event is designed to encourage conservation through the four R’s: refuse, reduce, reuse and recycle. Learn more here!
