The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County will host America Recycles Day at its Education Center in West Palm Beach this fall, offering residents a behind-the-scenes look at local recycling and waste operations!
The free event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature facility tours, a heavy equipment expo, kids’ activities, food trucks and opportunities to responsibly dispose of lithium batteries and exchange plastic bags for reusable recycling bags.
The event also celebrates Palm Beach County’s fourth consecutive year with Florida’s highest recycling rate, reaching 91% in 2025.
